ENR Midwest announced in mid-August category winners for its Best Projects competition, recognizing the best in design and construction in the 11-state region. In addition to those awards, judges selected from all the winners three projects as finalists for this year's Project of the Year. All winning project teams will be recognized in Chicago at a breakfast on Nov. 15 at the Blackstone Hotel, with the selected Project of the Year also to be announced.

ENR Midwest will also recognize several other award winners this year, including Owner of the Year, Terminal, Railroad Association of St. Louis; Design Firm of the Year, Terracon;  Contractor of the Year, Clune Construction; and Specialty Contractor of the Year, Reflection Window + Wall. Legacy Award recipient Ray Kowalik, former CEO of Burns and McDonnell, also will be recognized.
