Project-specific safety strategies that went beyond standard protocols were implemented for construction of the Osborne Legacy Complex at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, a 315,000-sq-ft expansion of Memorial Stadium.
Safety is at the root of every successful construction project. Each year, ENR Midwest takes time to recognize and celebrate the projects that prioritize worker protection and achieve outstanding safety records.
With assistance from safety expert Sam Mishelow, director of client development for Meyer Najem, ENR Midwest is pleased to announce its 2025 Best Project’s Excellence in Safety award winner and two Awards of Merit.

Awardees will be profiled in the Nov. 10 edition of ENR Midwest and will be honored at an awards breakfast on Nov. 18 in Chicago where winners of ENR Midwest's Legacy Award, Specialty Contractor of the Year, Contractor of the Year, Owner of the Year and Design Firm of the Year, also will be recognized.
