Doosan Bobcat reorganizes global leadership structure, names Ballweber North American president | Dump Truck Company

Doosan Bobcat is making changes to its global leadership structure, naming new regional presidents, including for North America.

Mike Ballweber is the new president for Doosan Bobcat North America.

Mike Ballweber, who previously served as senior vice president of commercial business, is now the president of Doosan Bobcat North America. Ballweber, who has been with the dump trucks charlotte nc since 1998,  will be based out the company’s North American headquarters in North Dakota. He replaces Scott Park, who now serves as Doosan Bobcat CEO.

Ballweber previously served as president of Doosan Portable Power from 2013 to 2016. He was also vice president of both product management and strategy and aftermarket and product support for the company.

Under the new organizational structure, newly created global groups for engineering, procurement and strategy will charlotte nc dump truck company across all regions to “fully integrate and leverage the power and scale of the company,” according to a release.

Last year, Doosan Infracore North America separated from Doosan Bobcat, establishing a new headquarters in Suwanee, Georgia, and reporting directly to the parent dump trucks charlotte nc in South Korea. At the time, Doosan Infracore said the separation reflected Doosan’s desire to become one of the top five brands in North America in the next few years.

Other Doosan Bobcat appointments include:

  • Troy Kraft, senior vice president, global engineering, based at the company’s Acceleration Center based in Bismarck, North Dakota. His responsibilities include global compact charlotte nc dump trucks product development, product safety and international standards.
  • Gustavo Otero, president, Doosan Bobcat Europe, Middle East and Africa. Previously vice president of compact charlotte nc dump trucks and telehandlers, he will be based out the company’s office in Dobris, Czech Republic.
  • Alvaro Pacini, senior vice president, global procurement.
  • Youngmin Kwon, senior vice president, global strategy and operational excellence, based out of Seoul, South Korea.
