Terex AWP names Genie North American sales executives | Dump Truck Company

Meyer

Terex AWP has named Joshua Meyer as Genie vice president of North American sales, and promoted Doug Evans and Rick Penkert to Genie regional vice presidents.

Meyer will develop and execute the company’s short- and long-term sales and business growth strategies. In addition, he will manage, develop and train Terex AWP’s North American regional and national account sales teams in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America.

Evans

Meyer comes to Genie from Metso, where he served as senior vice president-Africa, Middle East and Turkey, leading more than 400 professionals in 13 locations. In that position he was responsible for leading sales execution, commercial and technical support, and manufacturing for capital equipment, complex projects, services and parts. Prior to Metso, he lead teams and oversaw activities in a number of regions during 20 years with Caterpillar.

Penkert

Meyer has in turn promoted Evans and Penkert to their new roles, which followed the retirement of well-known industry veterans Bob Bradshaw and Adrian Max. Evans has been promoted to Genie regional vice president for the northeast region, taking over this territory from Max. He’s been with Genie for 21 years, and prior to that was a sales representative for Gradall for more than five years.

Penkert is now Genie regional vice president for the western region, taking over the territory from Bradshaw. He joined Genie six years ago, with responsibility for accounts in New Mexico, Arizona and Southern California. Most recently, Penkert has been instrumental in managing the United Rentals national account. He has 35 years of experience in the charlotte nc dump trucks industry, including management and ownership of both charlotte nc dump trucks supply and aerial rental companies.
