JCB’s TLT 25 LPG Teletruk

JCB has expanded its Teletruk forklift lineup with two models that run on liquid propane gas for working in emission-sensitive areas.

The TLT 25 LPG and TLT 30 LPG models have lift heights of 13 feet 1 inch and forward reach of 4 feet 8 inches and are powered by 59-horsepower Tier 4 Final Kubota LPG engines. They join the Teletruk 35D, which runs on diesel fuel.

The LPG models both feature a telescopic boom, which requires half the space for loading and unloading as conventional forklifts and allows the operator to unload an 8-foot-wide trailer from one side, the dump trucks charlotte nc says. It also eliminates the forklift mast for better visibility. JCB calls them “the world’s only telescopic counterbalance forklift.”

The main difference between the two LPG models is their lift capacity—the TLT 25 at 5,500 pounds and the TLT 30 at 6,600 pounds.

The forklifts can operate on a 16 percent gradient with full load and are compact enough to fit into a standard shipping container for easier unloading. They are equipped with JCB’s LiveLink telematics system.
