Galaxy LHD 500 a solid tire designed to give wheel loaders more traction | Dump Truck Company
Yokohama subsidiary Alliance Tire Group (ATG) has launched a new severe duty solid (SDS) tire designed to provide wheel loaders with a long service life and high traction.
Sold under ATG’s Galaxy brand, the LHD 500 SDS made its debut at the Bauma show in Munich this week. ATG says the tire is designed to withstand the harshest industrial applications, terrains and ground conditions.
The LHD 500 SDS features special tread compounds to protect against cuts and ensure low and even wear with minimal heat build-up. A high lug to void ratio ensures machines stability and increases service life.
The tire features a single row aperture which minimizes heat build-up and delivers a smooth ride.
ATG is offering three sizes: Size 14.00-24 for rim 10.00-24; size 14.00-25 for rim 10.00-25, and size 17.5-25 for rim 14.00-25.
