Blythe, which has engaged STV Engineers as its design partner, won out over two other short-listed contractors — The Lane Construction Corp. and Winston-Salem Beltway Constructors, which included Thompson Arthur Paving & Construction, Atlantic, Inc. and Wright Brothers Construction Co.
